Sentinel e-mail technology undergoes massive overhaul
New address will greatly improve the newspaper

Announced Thursday, July 13, The Smoky Mountain Sentinel is migrating from its current e-mail address (sentinel@dnet.net) to a new one: smsentinel@gmail.com. The changes make way for a future of more multimedia content like photos and videos submitted from regional readers and local companies.

The change, effective immediately, will greatly increase productivity at the paper, allowing for better archiving, searching and storage.
