Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church AWANA
The A.W.A.N.A. children of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at Elf Road in Hayesville packed 40 shoe boxes with toys, hygiene supplies and candy to be sent in conjunction with Samaritan's Purse to children overseas in poor or war-torn areas. Their shoe boxes, along with approximately 100 more packed by the people of Mt. Pleasant, will send the gospel message of Jesus Christ to areas where our missionaries cannot spread the gospel, and to assist our missionaries as they work. Churches of many denominations come together at this time of year to cooperate in this ministry, which not only spreads the gospel, but sends the message that Americans care.
