Unitarians to hear Dr. Kagan

Dr. Irving Kagan of Sky Valley and Atlanta will address the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin on Sunday, Nov. 19. The title of his talk will be, "Gnosticism and Early Christianity." Many Forks Baptist to hold singing

Many Forks Baptist Church of Gumlog, Ga., will hold its fourth Sunday night singing on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. Special singerswill be The Gospelheirs from Robbinsville, NC. Pastor R.L. Martin and the entire congregation invite everyone to attend.

Community Thanksgiving Service

The United Methodist Churches of Clay County are providing a Thanksgiving service for all Clay County communities on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, Hayesville.

Preacher for the occasion will be Rev. Jacob Kyker, pastor of Oak Forest UMC. Music will be led by First UMC Children's Bell Choir and Chancel Choir. The Thanksgiving Offering will be received for the Clay County Food Pantry. Worshippers are also invited to bring canned goods for the pantry.

Free Thanksgiving Meal

A Thanksgiving Free Meal (full meal with all the fixins, drink and dessert) will be served Thursday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly Church house on our new property at 191 Robinson Road. (Ph. at Church house 321-3031) Sponsored by Home Delivered Meals and First Assembly Church.
