Jarrett Road lights Christmas Lane

Drive through Jarrett Road Community's Christmas Lane on Saturday, Dec. 2, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Over 2,000 luminaries will light your way the entire length of the road. Christmas decorations and lights will create a magical atmosphere to get you truly in the Christmas spirit. Jarrett Road is north of Hayesville and may be accessed from Tusquittee Road or Downings Creek Road off US 64 East. Rain date will be Sunday, Dec. 3.

Unitarians to hear Dr. Henderson

"Unitarian Universalists as Free Thinkers," is the title of the talk Dr. John Henderson of Asheville will deliver at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin on Sunday, December 3. For information, call Bill Bell at 369-3633 or Hank Dearborn at (706) 782-6132.

Hanging of the Greens at Sweetwater UMC

A Hanging of the Greens will be held Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at Sweetwater United Methodist Church in Hayesville. A Christmas play and homemade soup supper will follow. All are invited to attend.

Candlelight Service at Sweetwater UMC

A candlelight service will be held Dec. 17 at 9 a.m. at Sweetwater United Methodist Church in Hayesville.
