TCCC students cited for their creation of new magazine logo
Logos, the new Tri-County Community College literary magazine has a new logo thanks to two students, Cheyenne Gaffey and Cody Riffle. Both students are enrolled in the Tri-County Early College High School. Cheyenne is the daughter of Debbie and Tim Gaffey of Martin's Creek. She is interested in studying either marine biology or cosmetology. Cody is the son of Dulcie and Jeff Riffle of Murphy. He is interested in the arts and in law or medical school. For their efforts, each student received $25. Logos is still accepting submissions of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, art, photography and music for its January 2007 issue. Here, left to right, Steve Wood, Cheyenne Gaffney, Cody Riffle, and Lee Ann Hodges pose for a photo. Wood and Hodges are English instructors at TCCC and the faculty advisors for Logos.
