Students made Christmas bright
Second graders at Hayesville Elementary School celebrated Christmas by collecting toys at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Members of Mrs. Long's, Mrs. Thurmond's and Mrs. Sara's second-grade classes got together and decided they would bring troys to send to patients at the Childrens' Hospital instead of participating in the normal gift exchange with fellow classmates. Mrs. Sara said she and the other teachers were very proud of their students and the gerosity they showed during the holidays.
