Agents of the Narcotics Unit were conducting an undercover operation concerning the trrafficking of illegal narcotics into Cherokee and Clay counties. Through a network of intelligence, agents were able to determine that a trafficking amount of cocaine was being delivered by Gina Lowery, 27, to Cherokee County. Agents positively identified the driver as Swangela Eugina "Gina" Lowery, 27, of Sautee, Ga., and lhrough the course of investigation found digital weighing scales and 30 grams of crack cocaine.

The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Lacretice Antewent Moon. Moon had a 12-month-old child in a carseat in the back seat of the car. She was not charged at the scene, but is facing possible indictment at a later time on the same charges as Lowery.

Lowery was arrested and taken to the Clay County Jail where she was booked and processed.
