Willie Andrew Jones Graham County native, retired from Baker's Furniture Co.

Willie Andrew Jones, 71, of Mease Road, Hayesville, NC went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at his home after an extended illness. He was born October 23, 1935 in Graham County, NC and worked at Baker's Furniture Company in Andrews, NC where he retired after 30 years of employment. He was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church where he was an active member and loved the fellowship. He loved dearly to hunt and fish, especially with his greatgrandson Bryce.

He was the son of the late Monroe and Gertie Cody Jones. He was preceded in death by six brothers; Vincent Jones, Harvey Jones, Claude Jones, William Jones, Ernest Jones, and Emory Jones; three sisters, Stella Jackson, Ellie Kirkland and Lucille Jacobs. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Martin Jones; three daughters and their husbands, Diann Buckner and Joe of Hayesville, NC, Deborah Burch and Eddie of Hayesville, NC and Theresa Waldroup and Dean of Young Harris, GA; two sons, Danny Jones and his wife Joey of Hayesville, NC and Kim Jones and his wife Wanda of Hayesville, NC; eight grandsons, Joey Buckner, Jerry "Dustan" and Amy Buckner, Jason and Kim Buckner, Jeremy "Moe" and Fonda Buckner, Joshua Jones, Daniel Jones and Nick Jones all of Hayesville, NC and Matthew Waldroup of Young

Harris, GA; two granddaughters,

Shawnda Jones and

Rebecca Jones of

Hayesville, NC; twogreat

grandsons,

Bryce Buckner and

Jackson Lance; four great-granddaughters, Morgan

Waldroup, Jocelyn

Buckner, Taylor

Suzanne Buckner;

and expectant greatgranddaughter Emma Shae Buckner.

Funeral services were

held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Hayesville, NC. Rev. Arnold Brown, Rev. Jimmy Rogers and Rev. Brandon Matheson officiated. Jeremy "Moe" Buckner provided the music. Burial will be in the Meadow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joey Buckner, Dustan Buckner, Jason Buckner, Joshua Jones, Daniel Jones, Nick Jones and Matthew Waldroup.

The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2007 at the Frank Rose Sr. Memorial Chapel in Hayesville, NC where Mr. Jones remained until placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service hour.
