Kathy Holden
Towns County native, employed by Ledford's Native Plants

Kathy Holden, 47, of Hayesville, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at her residence. A native of Towns County, Ga., she had lived in Clay County for over 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Lee and Alva Ledford Arrowood. Kathy was an employee of Ledford's Native Plants and Moss and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Fairley Holden; a son, Jeffery Scott Holden and wife, Amanda of Young Harris, Ga.; two sisters, Dorothy Patterson and husband, Michael of Hiawassee, Ga. and Betty Ledford and husband, William (Speedy) of Hayesville; three brothers, Rondal Arrowood of Hayesville, and Rex Arrowood and Ricky Arrowood and wife, Lisa all of Hiawassee; and three grandchildren, Adam Scott Holden, Aaron Michael Holden, and Andrew Evan Holden.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22 in

the Chapel of Ivie Funeral

Home, Hayesville, with

the Revs. Eugene

Freeman and Ricky

Burrell officiating.

Interment was in

the Eagle Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

William Ledford,

Danny Hollifield,

Jamie Worley,

David Ledford, and

Stacie White. The family

received friends from 6

- 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.

The family requests memorials be made in memory of Kathy Holden to the Eagle Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 443 Dick Jones Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.

Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville is in charge of all arrangements.
