Forrest Lester Eads
Missouri native, 22 years in Clay County

Forrest Lester Eads, age 63, formerly of Hayesville, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the North Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. Mr. Eads was a son of the late Norman Lester and Judy Aleen Keasling Eads. He was a native of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and lived in Clay County for the past 22 years. He was a long haul truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. He was C.B. Broadrange Communicator and loved to visit with family and friends. He was a member of the Ole Country Church and enjoyed traveling with his family group "Faith Walk" and playing guitar.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Jo Ann, three sons: Bud Eads and wife Sandra of Hayesville, Joey Eads of Clarksville, Ga. and Billy Eads and wife, Kelly, also of Hayesville, a daughter, Sherri Gragg and husband Keith of Clarksville, Ga. and brother, Jack Eads and wife Edith of Williamsville, Mo., one grandson, Chase Ryan L. Eads

and several nieces and

nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.,

Wednesday, March 7 at the First Freewill

Baptist Church in

Hayesville. Pastor

Chris Rumfelt,

Brother Billy Trotter

and Brother Leonard

Mayfield will officiated.

Special music were provided

by Chris Rumfelt, Chad Eads, Joey Green and B.J. Ferguson who played the bagpipes. Interment was at Shooting Creek Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Keith Gragg, Joey Green, Danny Moss, Gary Swanson, Dean Green. Honorary Pallbearers were Wallace Ledford and Buckeye Worley.

The family received friends Tuesday, March 6 at the First Freewill Baptist Church, where the body will remain until the service hour.
