Chili Cook-off

The band "Gnarly Fingers" is performing at the CCRA "Chili Cook-off" on Saturday, April 14 on the square. Serving time is 11:30 - 2:00.
Live Music by the band "Gnarly Fingers" is a sure bet to enliven the festive air at the Chili Cook- Off sponsored by Clay County Communities Revitalization Association on Saturday, April 14 on the historic Hayesville Square.

Businesses , churches, and civic groups, this perfect opportunity to introduce yourselves to the public. Individual and youth (under age 18) are two categories in which to enter and vie for the prize. Entry fee is $15.00 plus approximately two gallons of your lip-smackin' chili. Decorate your booth in a south of the border theme and compete for the titles of "Numero Uno Chili in Clay County" and "Best Booth Award."

The public pays $5.00 per person for the delight of tatting each booth's specialty and voting for a favorite. Serving time is 11:30 to 2:0, and awards are given at 2:30.
