Jackets and Lady Jackets win over Andrews

#20 Paige Crisp getting ready to take another pitch
Casey Bracken was the winning pitcher in the Jacket's baseball victory over Andrews last Friday. Hayesville struck first but it was slow going until the later innings. Hayesville won 9 to 1. Tyler Vaughn had three hits and three runs. Both C.J Crowder and Brandon Gray picked up a couple of hits.

In the Lady Jackets game, Ashlin Soltys pitched for her sixth win defeating Andrews 13 to zero. The Lady Jackets getting six hits and taking five bases on balls.

The JV Lady Jackets also scored a huge victory over the Andrews Wildcats with a 23 to 2 win.

Kerry Lund came out with two runs, as did Laura Stafford and Kayla Sprinkles. Paige Crisp, Jackie Vogel, Hilary Nelson and Joy Crowder came in with three runs apiece, Merinda Carr had one run, and Alek Ingram picked up four runs in the game.

Earlier in the week, Hayesville's men's varsity rolled over Hiwassee Dam by a score of 17 to 7. In that game, C.J. Crowder, Casey Bracken and Tyler Vaughn all scored three runs each.

The Lady Jackets defeated Hiwassee Dam by a score of 11 to 1, and the JV Girls team won by a 17 to 1 score. All in all, it was a great week of baseball and softball
