George Jones coming to Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds Godfather of Modern Country Music Takes the Stage to Kick off Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds1 2007 Superstar Concert Series What: George Jones, the undisputed godfather of modern country, will open the 2007 Superstar Concert Series on Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m. Jones will perform live at Anderson Music Hall with special guest Magician Mike Fuller.
