Church Calendar Motorcycle Service. First Assembly in Andrews will have a special Church service Sunday April 29 at 10:45am at Hall Park across from the Post Office in Andrews. Olivet Baptist church singing Mt. Olivet Baptist Church of Blairsville is pleased to have the Jody Brown Indian Family in a singing service this Saturday April 28th, 2007 at 6:00p.m. A Fellowship meal will immediately following the singing. Everyone is welcome. Mt. Olivet Baptist church is located on Boyscout Rd. off of HWY 325 in Blairsville, Georgia. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship The speaking at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin on Sunday, April 29, will be Dr. Edward Barrett of Brevard. Smokey Mountain Boys at Boiling Springs Baptist The Smokey Mountain Boys, who originate in Bryson City, North Carolina, will be singing at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church, Sunday April 29th in the 11:00 A.M. services. These men are dedicated to using their God-given talents to spread His message through song. The group consists of Tim Smith, tenor vocals; Dwight Bradshaw, lead vocals, guitar; Eric Lambert, baritone vocals, upright bass; Scott Sutton, banjo, Dobro®, guitar; Cameron Bradshaw, mandolin. Their mountain-style bluegrass gospel has been enjoyed throughout the country since 1990. In 1999, the Smoky Mountain Boys were honored to reach #1 on the Bluegrass Now Gospel Truths Chart with their song, "Prayer Grounds". The group has also received wide-spread radio airplay with songs such as "Mary's Little Lamb", "Good Morning Lord", Stand Fast In The Fight, The End, and "It Is I Thomas". The group has been featured on Solid Gospel1s Front Porch Fellowship radio program, and received excellent reviews in Bluegrass Unlimited, Bluegrass Now, and The Singing News magazine. Pastor Eddis Dockery says,"This is one of the finest groups of talented men, whose blend of Blue Grass Gospel music is peculiar to our area and you will not want to miss this wonderful event." Boiling Springs Church is located in the Hanging Dog Community of Murphy about 12 miles north of Murphy. This special singing will begin at 11:00 AM Sunday, April 29th. Interdenominational worship and prayer service Sunday April 29th, Tri- County Christian Crusades will be having an inter-denominational worship and intercessory prayer service. Many area churches will come together to fellowship, worship together, and to intercede in prayer for our area needs. With drugs, alcohol, and family issues and so many needs of the peoples, there is an urgency to come together and enjoy the harmony and fellowship God's kingdom calls for. Many churches have joined in these worship services which are organized by tri-county Christian Crusades each month with a fifth Sunday. the host church this month will be Liberty Baptist Church of Robbinsville, NC. Liberty Baptist and Pastor David Byrd encourage everyone to come out and be apart of this exciting service. Service will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday April 29th.
