60 and 50 year Masons awarded by Masonic Grand Master of North Carolina

Montgomery Lodge had a meeting this month with special guest, Barry Rigdon, Grand Master of Masons in North Carolina. Grand Master Rigdon gave a report on Masonic happenings in North Carolina.

During the meeting he made two very significant presentations. He presented the 60 year award to Brother Beecher Morrow and the 50 year award to Brother Clarence "Doc" Little.

Masons from lodges in the 41st Masonic District attended and there was a full house.

Masons contribute in many different ways to people in the community. In addition they own and operate a Childrens Home in Oxford, North Carolina, and a home for Masons and Eastern Star members in Greensboro, North Carolina.
