Moss Memorial May Speaker
Eve Miranda of Topton, NC will share her expertise in the field of Herbal Medicines. Much of her knowledge she aquired from her grandmother and others who practiced folk medicine over 100 years ago. She will relate to the group some of the things she has used to overcome some of her own medical problems.
She has published numerous articles for magizines and newspapers accompanied by her own photographs. She has written several books. She will bring copies of "The Power of Nature's Medicines" and some of her medicinal herbs she has grown to sell. Eve owns a Nursery and Landscaping Business and uses many of her native and medicinal plants in the gardend she designs. These plants are a few examples of some of the many kinds that survive in our area. For more information call 828-389- 8401.
