Mountain Regional Art & Craft Guild
The Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the arts for adults and children, announces their May Class Schedule. Says Class Coordinator, Verlee Jones, "We are excited to be able to offer a wide variety of arts and crafts classes to the public. In daddition to having classes for adults, we are setting up art classes for children. We have a very nice facility in Hiawassee to use, and I know all the members are very pleased at being able to expose our young ones to the arts at an early age.'
All Classes are held in our new Artisan Center called "ArtWorks," located in Hiawassee, Georgia, on Big Sky Drive. ArtWorks is open from 10 am until 5 pm Mondays through Saturdays, and from 5 pm - 9 pm on Open Night Thursdays (the 2nd Thursday of every month!) for evening shopping and arts and crafts demonstrations.
Lists for upcoming classes are scheduled on our website (mtnregartscraftsguild.org), and those interested in taking classes are encouraged to call 706-896-0932 to register soon for a class of their choice.
Also, ArtWorks is open on the 2nd Thursday (Open Night Thursday) of every month from 10 am - 9 pm for evening shopping and arts and crafts participation.
