Pamela Ann Johnson Welch

Pamela Ann Johnson Welch, 50, of Hayesville died Wednesday (April 25, 2007) in a Murphy hospital. She was a native of Clay County, where she had lived most of her life. She had worked as a paramedic with Clay County EMS and later worked as a nurse. She was of the Christian faith. Pamela was a loving wife and mother of two children.

Surviving are her husband, Andy Welch; two daughters, Ryanna Johnson and Angela Welch; her parents, Jimmy and Marie White Johnson of Hayesville; and a brother, Garland Johnson of Hayesville.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday (April 28) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Rev. Kirk Hatherly officiating. Interment was in the Laurel Hills Memory Garden. Pallbearers: Skip Mulkey, Rusty Murray, Ed Snowden, David Crisp, Mike Woodmansee, and Christopher Welch.

The family received friends from 12-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services. Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville in charge of all arrangements.
