Excavation at the courthouse
With good weather, workcontinues outside at the new courthouse. Dirk Cody surveys in placement of storm water boxes, which are being laid alongside Courthouse Drive leading in from Old Hwy 64. There will be covered drains to handle parking lot runoff which will be piped into the creek below. DOT overseer Terry Woody said he expects the work to be completed within two weeks in preparation for paving the roadway.
