Linda Lavelle McClure

Linda Lavelle McClure, 60, of Hayesville died Wednesday (May 9, 2007) in a Murphy care facility. A native of Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Wayne and Mary Jo Garrett McClure. She was a graduate of Hayesville High School and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a daughter, Maria Garrett and husband, Stephen of Warne; a son, Daniel Chastain and wife, Shannon of Hayesville; four sisters, Carol Jones and Cecelia Wade both of Burlington, NC, Mildred 3Mickey2 Garrison of Hayesville, and Debbie Frady of Dawsonville, GA; and four grandchildren, Jessi Chastain, Chloe Chastain, Haley Garrett, and Grayson Garrett.

Funeral services at 3:00 PM Sunday (May 13) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Rev. Clark Moss officiating. Interment in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Billy Joe, Chris, Leon, Jason, and David Chastain, and Dennis Moss. Honorary pallbearer: Clifford Chastain.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 Sunday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services. Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville in charge of all arrangements.
