Who in your family has served in the military?

My uncle served in the war, but I can't remember the name of the war he served in. His name was Louie Nichols. I have a bunch of family members who served in the war. I'm very proud of them because they help us keep our freedom. - Brandon Chastain
My father, Bill Myron Dixon, served in the army. He went to Okinawa and then he died before I was born. And my great, great grandfather, Emmett Finwal, served. - Thomas Dixon
My uncle on my mother's side, T.L. Patterson, was in World War II. My uncle on my father's side was in Vietnam. I've also got a first cousin who was in Vietnam. - Mildred Nichols
My son-in-law, Charles Anthony Attles is a lieutenant colonel. We're proud of what he's doing. We miss him and we're concerned for his safety. - Jeannie Clark
To have brothers go off into a war that you don't agree with is very hard. I admire them, that they can go on and do what they have to do. One is Corporal Josh Lance, the other is Major John Lance, a helicopter pilot in the Air Force. - Cindy Shook
My great uncle, Ralf Ledford, served in World War II and the Korean War. He answered the call of his country. Today it doesn't seem like too many people are answering that call. I take inspiration from him to be able to face hard trials in life. - Jonah Matheson
