Thank You

Hayesville High School and the 2007 prom committee would like to thank everyone who helped make the prom a safe and enjoyable event.

We would especially like to thank the following for donating gifts to be given away as door prizes and in drawings: ARP/Phoenix, Body Sense, Chinquapins, Copper Door & Coffee Shop, Designer Threads, Eller & Owens, Gemstone Creations, Jacky Jones Dodge, employees of Mountain Valley Feed store, 100 Strong and Nantahala Bank & Trust.

Thanks, too, to Kerr Drug, Ingles and Bethel Bower from Fieldstone Cinemas for help with decorations as well as a HUGE thank you to Abbie's Flowers and Fiddles for balloons, flowers, etc. Brad Long and his son, Brett Long, worked hard to let us enjoy an extra special "decoration," their vintage red corvette. We appreciate their trust! Wayman Cooper was the photographer and he did a fantastic job as well.

A special thank you to the Clay County Sheriff's Department and North Carolina Highway State Patrol for speaking to the junior and senior classes at an assembly and for patrolling during and after the prom to help keep our youth safe.

Dawn Wilde of the Coalition for a Safe and Drug Free Clay County coordinated most of the donations. We are especially grateful to her for all the work she does to help our students make responsible decisions!

Sincerely, Elissa Gilgen Patty Stambaugh
