Dobson-Moore wedding

The Reverend and Mrs. Neil R. Dobson and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Moore are pleased to announce the marriage of their children, Callie Lynn and Philip Wendell on Saturday, May 20, 2006, in the Hayesville First United Methodist Church Chapel.

Ushers, Matthew Dobson, brother of the bride and Glenn Carson II, friend of the couple escorted guests into the sanctuary. The matron of honor was Karen Dec of Ann Arbor, MI and the best man, Wesley Grindstaff of Marble. Other attendants were friends of the bride, Sandi Carper, Deanna Doohaluk, Leslie Gray, Lisa Melton and Kristin Randles.

The Reverend Kirk Hatherly, pastor of Hayesville First UMC, the couple's home church, was the officiating pastor. The Reverend Neil R. Dobson, father of the bride and the Reverend George Weekley, the bride's former campus minister served communion during the ceremony. Wanda Galloway of Hayesville was the pianist.

A reception was held following the ceremony in The Gathering Place at Hayesville First UMC and guests rang bells as the couple left the church. The couple honeymooned in Colorado, after spending a day touring the bride's hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The couple asked that donations be made to the Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition in lieu of gifts. Callie and Philip celebrated their first anniversary on Sunday.
