LaRilla Kitchel

LaRilla May Hall Kitchel, age 87, of Hayesville, NC died Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Clay County Care Center in Hayesville, NC. She was a native of Laramie County, Wyoming, a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Andrews, NC. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Delbert Hall and Elsie McFarland Hall and was preceded in death by her husband, Outly Albert Kitchel; two sons, Clinton Albert Kitchel and Bernard LaBelle and a brother, LeRoy Marvin Hall.

Mrs. Kitchel is survived by two sons, David Patrick LaBelle of Moble, Alabama and Thomas Allen Kitchel of Marble, NC; six daughters, Diane Ujdur of Walnut Creek, California, Bonnie Strokely of Waynesboro, Mississippi, Joyce Shephard of Lake Wales, Florida, Jane James of Sherman, Texas, Martha Sammons of Lakeland, Florida and Karen K. Coker of Warne, NC; twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Delbert Hall of Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister, Shirley Adell Gehrig of McCall, Idaho.

A Memorial service was held at 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Townson Rose, Frank Rose, Sr. Memorial Chapel in Hayesville, NC. The Rev. Brandon Matheson and Rev. Tommy Messer will officiate. The family received friends from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Townson Rose, Frank Rose, Sr. Memorial Chapel in Hayesville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made In Memory of LaRilla May Kitchel to the Shriner's Hospital, P.O. Box 560666, Charlotte, NC 28256.
