Carolgene James
She was a native of Temperance, Michigan and a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Mary Ann Wagganecht Schultz. She moved to Hayesville, NC from Uniontown, Ohio in 1994 and was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a cashier at KMart in Franklin, NC. Carolgene enjoyed sewing and needlework. She also enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and was an avid collector of beanie babies and magnets. She loved to read and was an enthusiastic country line dancer and square dancer. Carolgene was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Rondall P. James, Sr.; a son, Ron James, Jr. of Louisville Ohio; five daughters, Rhonda Dockery of Blairsville, Georgia, Tina A. Radcliff of Canton, Ohio, Jan Boom of Easley, SC, Brenda Sue James of Brownsville, Kentucky and Sharon Frances McKinney of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; nine grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. A service of remembrance is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made In Memory of Carolgene James to the American Cancer Society c/o Sue Upchurch, 4344 Mulkey Gap Road, Blairsville, GA 30512.
