Barbara Bishop Barbara Bishop, 70, of Hayesville died Sunday (May 27, 2007) at her residence. She was a native of Dade County, FL, but had been living in Clay County for the past 15 months. She was a retired secretary for the Royal Palm Elementary School where she had worked for 23 years. Barbara was of the Christian faith. She loved arts and crafts, needle point, and sewing. Surviving are four sons, Robert Michael Bishop of Sarasota, FL, Patrick Timothy Bishop of Miami, FL, Scott Douglas Bishop of Cape Coral, FL, and Paul Gregory Bishop of Hayesville; a sister, Joann Hamilton of Honolulu, HI; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 6:00 PM Thursday (May 31) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Rev. Adrain Traurig officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 5-5:45 Thursday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services. Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville in charge of all arrangements.
