Football rafting trip a success

After the trip, the team prepared to load up to return home with good stories and memories.
Sixteen members of the 2007 Yellow Jackets Football Team took a raft trip down the Ocoee River this past Friday. The trip was a reward for those players that had 80% attendance during the teams spring drills.

After rafting the players were treated to a cookout with hamburgers, hotdogs and Tom Thomas' "special baked beans."

Yellow Jacket Football Players would like to thank the QB Club who sponsored the trip and Bill Martin, Phil Cantley, and Tom Thomas who cooked the food.

Rising seniors participating in the raft trip were Tim Coker, Tino Scolaro, Robert Rogers, DJ Anderson, and Justin Miller. Rising juniors were Donovan Byers, Tyler Benson, Brett Long, Brett Moody and Tom Shaffer. Rising sophomores were Evan Furby, Tommy Kelly, Jonathan Hayes, Scott Anderson, Ryan Nichols, and Sam Lusty. The players were accompanied by Shelby Holloway (manager), Matthew McDaniel (team Chaplin), Coach Wade Byers, Coach Chad McClure and Coach Setzer.
