"The Matheson Cove" local history book
Children of Jerry and Ruby Anna Mull (Harold, Joan, Shelby, Ruth and Charles) are sponsoring copies of a local history book to the Andrews High School History Department. The book, entitled "The Matheson Cove," is a three hundred year history and is set over the mountains in Clay County. However, there were strong family ties with Joe Mull's family (Tusquittee) and Jerry's family in Andrews. Joe's daughter, Eva Nell Mull, author of the book, remembers with great fondness her daddy's childhood stories about his cousin, Jerry. Joe's regular visits to Andrews were exciting times! Perhaps what impressed him the most was the fact that Jerry's parent, Uncle John David and Artie Louise Mull, 'drove' a Model T Ford - instead of a team of horses and wagon!

The book may be viewed at the website www.tvp1.com. Eva hopes to have a classroom set (30 copies) of the book ($20.00 each) sponsored by businesses and individuals. Personalized labels will be placed in the front of each book indicating the sponsor and the individual being honored.
