What has been your most memorable 4th of July?

It was when I was a child in Indianapolis, Indiana and I can remember going with family to a soap box derby and they had fireworks that lit up on the ground in addition to the ones in the sky. - Judy Smith

I'm usually out of the country on the Fourth of July. I will be this year too. There's sort of an anonymity that goes with that, because nobody knows it's Fourth of July in the U.S. Nobody else celebrates it with you. I remember when I was 12 and I was in Israel and it was the Fourth of July and we sang the Star Spangled Banner on the bus with Jewish people around. - April Koldyk
