Family Fellowship Night to be held monthly at Black and Gold Center

Family Fellowship Night is hosted by the Young Couples Sunday School class at Truett Memorial First Baptist Church.
Truett Memorial First Baptist Church's Young Couples Sunday School class is hosting a monthly family fellowship at the Black & Gold Center (at VFW ballfields),beginning Saturday, July 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. and continuing each month on the last Saturday night of the month.

Music, games and light refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend.

"We just saw a need for Christian family fellowship," event organizer Chad Hodges said. "We envisioned this event as a way for families in the community to meet and support each other in a Christian environment."

The idea for the fellowship night came about as members of the Young Couples Sunday School class at Truett reflected on how much they had grown not only from the Bible study in their class, but also from the fellowship. Proverbs 27:17 states,"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." It is the hope of class members that this fellowship will help families strengthen other families and help lead lost families to Christ.

Family Fellowship is open to all families in the community. regardless of whether they are active in a church. Come out and join us!
