And the band goes marching on...
Georgia Air National Guard Band to perform August 4

The Georgia Air National Guard Band will perform from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. August 4 at the Blue Ridge Downtown City Park, across from the Art Center.
BLUE RIDGE - The last in the series of "Concert in the Park" presented by the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association is a real American Patriotic Event. Saturday night, August 4 from 6:30 til 7:30 the Georgia Air National Guard Band of the South will play the music that's so hard to sit still by. Marches from famous American composers, songs you remember and can sing, plus other music played by one of the best militairy bands in the country.

Throughout the years, the band's reputation has lead to many performances for notable figures including President Harry S. Truman, the President of Tanzania, honored generals from one star to four, mayors, congressmen, governors and many international dignitaries.

Under the baton of Captain Alan McConnell, 30+ fabulous musicians have entertained enthusiatic audiences in many states and foreign countries. The Georgia Air National Guard Band of the South plays from 6:30-7:30 pm in Blue Ridge Downtown City Park, across from the Art Center. Bring your chairs, relax and let the band present you with an evening of musical pleasure.Admission is free. The Art Center will be open before and after the concert.
