All area choirs are invited

Mountain Synagogue

Mountain Synagogue will hold Shabbat Services on Saturday, August 25th, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. in the Social Hall at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church on Roller Mill Road in Franklin, NC.

McConnell Memorial Baptist Church

Special Needs Programs @ McConnell Memorial Baptist Church, Main Street Hiawassee.

MMBC has added programs for children with special needs ages 4-10. Sunday School starts at 9:00am. Children's church begins when the children exit the service to go to Children's Church. The AWANA program also offers a Special Needs Class. AWANA is on Sunday nights from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. AWANA takes place in the Family Life Center @ MMBC. Parents are asked to attend the first 10 minutes of Sunday School or AWANA with the teachers for the first 2 weeks. For additional information call Luann Robinson @ 706-897-2363.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin presents an evening of classic folk & pop music from the 50's through the 70's featuring, the artistry of Ken Sizemore.

When: Saturday, September 8th, 6-9 PM

Where: UU Fellowship Hall at 85 Sierra Drive (follow the street alongside Hardees for benefit the UU building fund.

Also, on September 2, Mrs. Maithel Shindelman of Franklin will deliver a talk title " Our 35th Anniversary Celebration" at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin. Women of Murphy Presbyterian

Women of Murphy Presbyterian Church will meet Wed September 5 at 6PM. They will begin a new ten month study, "New Testament Characters" by Carolyn Nystrom, beginning with "Growing Old With God," Anna and Simeon, Luke 2: 21-40.
