Little Brasstown Baptist Church

All area choirs are invited

to participate in the "Gospel Song Festival of Choirs 2007'to be held at Little Brasstown Baptist church Sunday Evening Sept. 23rd at 6:30p.m. Each choir is asked to prepare 5 to 6 minutes of music. Please call Jerrie Ruth at 837-6160 as soon as possible with your selections!

Clay United Methodist Men

McConnell Memorial Baptist Church

Special Needs Programs @ McConnell Memorial Baptist Church, Main Street Hiawassee.

MMBC has added programs for children with special needs ages 4-10. Sunday School starts at 9:00am. Children's church begins when the children exit the service to go to Children's Church. The AWANA program also offers a Special Needs Class. AWANA is on Sunday nights from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. AWANA takes place in the Family Life Center @ MMBC. Parents are asked to attend the first 10 minutes of Sunday School or AWANA with the teachers for the first 2 weeks. For additional information call Luann Robinson @ 706-897-2363.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin presents an evening of classic folk & pop music from the 50's through the 70's featuring, the artistry of Ken Sizemore.

When: Saturday, September 8th, 6-9 PM

Where: UU Fellowship Hall at 85 Sierra Drive (follow the street alongside Hardees. 1.2 miles) $20 Donation to benefit the UU building fund.

Also, on September 2, Mrs. Maithel Shindelman of Franklin will deliver a talk title " Our 35th Anniversary Celebration" at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin. Women of Murphy Presbyterian

Women of Murphy Presbyterian Church will meet Wed September 5 at 6PM. They will begin new ten month study, "New Testament Characters" by Carolyn Nystrom, beginning with "Growing Old With God," Anna and Simeon, Luke 2: 21-40.
