Correction, correction

In the September 26 issue of this newspaper, we electronically pasted the arrest report for the week over a previous newspaper article without eliminating all of the information from the article being replaced.

As a result, the published arrest report mistakenly listed Desiree Tina Patterson's name in front of another individual, who had been arrested and charged with taking indecent liberties with children.

We want to clarify the matter and emphasize that Mrs. Patterson was in no way connected with that incident. The inclusion of her name in the 9/26/07 arrest report was an unintended, accidental mistake on the part of this newspaper.

A correction has been made to the arrest report in this week's edition. We regret the error and apologize to Mrs. Patterson for any anguish, embarrassment or discomfort it may have caused her.
