McConnell Memorial Baptist Church

Special Needs Programs @ McConnell Memorial Baptist Church, Main Street Hiawassee.

MMBC has added programs for children with special needs ages 4-10. Sunday School starts at 9:00am. Children's church begins when the children exit the service to go to Children's Church. The AWANA program also offers a Special Needs Class. AWANA is on Sunday nights from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. AWANA takes place in the Family Life Center @ MMBC. Parents are asked to attend the first 10 minutes of Sunday School or AWANA with the teachers for the first 2 weeks. For additional information call Luann Robinson @ 706-897-2363.

Trunk of Treats

Chatuge Hills Assembly of God will be hosting our first Trunk of Treats Halloween alternative. Trunk of Treats is a fun and safe alternative to other Halloween activities. We'll be decorating our trunks with Bible based themes and giving away tons of candy. Please join us on October 31 from 7 to 9PM for food, candy, bouncing castle, and a lot of trunks. Everything is free, so just bring yourself and your kids for a great time. We're located at 440 Burnt School House RD. Feel free to call us at 828-389-1691. No scary costumes please.

Mission Hill Baptist Church

On November 5-9, 2007 at 7:00 pm, Mission Hill Baptist Church will be holding a revival. Brother Terry Pace will be preaching and there will be a special singing each night. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information call Pastor Deron Shuler at (828) 389-2177.

Cowboy Church

The Cowboy Church is having a Fall Festival on Saturday, November 17, 2007 beginning at 11:00 am. There will be a Car Show, Singing, Bake Sale, BBQ and much, much, more. Please join us for food, fellowship and fun! Our new location is 1894 Hwy 64 West, Hayesville, NC 28904.

Many Forks Baptist Church

Many Forks Baptist Church of Gumlog, Ga , will be having a Fall Celebration on October 31, 2007, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be games for the kids and also for adults followed by hot dogs & hamburgers, with all the trimmings and finishing up with a hay-ride. The congregation along with their Pastor, RL Martin would truly enjoy your fellowship on this night.

Unitarian Universalist

On Sunday, November 4, the Speaker at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin will be the Rev. Bill David of Franklin. The title of his sermon will be "Views of God." Children's Sunday School at 10:15 am. Services begin at 11:00am.

Shiloah Baptist Church

Shiloah Baptist Church will be having a singing on Sunday, November 4th at 6:00 pm. The Lord's Messengers from Alto, GA will be singing. Rev. Clark Moss invites everyone to attend.

Blairsville Ministerial Alliance

The Blairsville Ministerial Alliance will lead a special time of Scripture, hymn singing, and prayer to lift up our state and community before God in this time of ongoing drought. Let us join together as the people of God from the surrounding communities in order to implore God for the outpouring of His grace and mercy upon the land and the people who have been affected by the conditions created by this lack of rain. We will gather for the "Concert of Prayer" in the Jury Room on the ground floor of the New Courthouse in Blairsville on Sunday, November 11 at 4:00 pm. This time of worship will be led by pastors from the various congregations in the Blairsville community.
