Kathy Ann Moss
She was a native and life time resident of Clay County, NC and was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. Kathy enjoyed her job as a Dietician Aide at the Clay County Care Center and was very attached to the residents there. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed working in the yard and in her flower gardens. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Thomas and Ruby Jane Cowart Cothren. Kathy is survived by her husband, Dwight Evan Moss; a daughter, Crystal Denise Rogers and her husband Michael Jason Rogers of Hayesville, NC; four brothers and their wives, Tony and Susie Cothren of the Peachtree section in Murphy, NC, David and Betty Cothren and Steve and Mary Cothren all of Hayesville, NC and Rex and Mary Cothren of Towns County, GA; and four grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Moss, Addison Rogers, Autumn Rogers and Bradley Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 26, 2007 at the Oak View Baptist Church in Hayesville, NC. The Rev. David Cothren, Rev. Steve Cothren and Rev. Ricky Burrell will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Alvin Moss, Jerry Moss, Greg Shields, Rex Cothren, David Cothren and Daniel Cothren. Honorary pallbearers will be: John Cothren and Michael Rogers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Townson Rose, Frank Rose, Sr. Memorial Chapel in Hayesville, NC. Kathy will lie in state at Oak View Baptist Church following visitation until the service hour. In lieu of flowers donations may be made In Memory of Kathy Ann Moss to the American Cancer Society, P.
