Music and Reading in Murphy
November 16, Friday from 5PM to 7:30, Shoppes of Murphy
will sponsor an evening of music and readings by local writers and poets. Chris
Waugh, poet; Linda Smith and Dorthea Spiegel, a talented mother and daughter,
will read; and Richard Argo, who moderates the popular local prose critique
group and rides his bike in marathons will be reading. After the planned
program, there is an open mic. The Curiosity Book Shop and Daily Grind coffee
and wine shop will be open late to accommodate the
performances. In
between the readings there will be live music.
