Bonnie L. Cearley
Bonnie was a native of Clay County, NC but had lived most of her life in the Culberson Community. She was a great mother who loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, loved to work in her flower garden and she was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Pickney and Arkiebell Bruce Byers. She was preceded in death by her husband Emory Ranzy Cearley, four sons, Charlie "Chuck", Cleaston, Hubert and Frank Cearley, a daughter, Gearldine Merrill, a son-in-law Buford "Doc" Dotson, and three grandchildren, Kim Cearley, Randy Cearley and Bobby Merrill. She is survived by three sons, Clifford Cearley and his wife Jean of Young Harris, GA, Johnny Cearley and his wife Sandra of Copperhill, TN and Ronnie Ray Cearley and his wife Hanh Lee of Seabrook, TX; a daughter, Ruby Jean Dotson of Murphy, NC, sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Townson Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. Rev. William Lee, Rev. Steve Ware and Dr. Homer Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, NC. Pallbearers will be Lance Cearley, Rodney Cearley, Matthew Parton, Alan Cearley, Tony Graham and Bruce Dotson. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Beaster, James Shope, J.C. Owenby and A.G. Cearley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, November 5, 2007, at the Townson Rose Funeral Home in Murphy, NC. You can send tributes to the Cearley Family at www.mem. com.
