Lillian W. Brown Mrs. Lillian W. Brown, age 79 of Smyrna, Georgia died Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 26 at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with the Rev. J.T. McHan officiating. Burial followed at 3:00 p.m., in the Many Folks Baptist Church Cemetery in Young Harris, Ga. Mrs. Walker had been a longtime resident of Smyrna. She was employed by Gulf Oil Corp. as a stenographer for over 30 years before retiring and was secretary/treasurer of Gulf Oil Corp., Retirees. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church in Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Brown. Surviving are son and daughter in-law, Barry Scott and Judy Brown of Young Harris, Ga., brother-in-law and sister-inlaw, Arnold and JoAnn Brown of Atlanta, Ga., sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy and George Lee of Haynesville, N.C., sister-in-law, Estelle Henson of Smyrna, brother-inlaw, Les Danner of Hayesville, N.C., grandson, Casey Brown of Young Harris, Ga., two granddaughters and spouse, Joy and Chris Mabry of Young Harris, Ga., and Beth Brown of Young Harris, Ga., two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Hayden Mabry.
