Dorothy Louise Wilkinson

Dorothy Louise Wilkinson, age 87, of Hiawassee, Ga., formerly of Hayesville, N.C. died Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at her home.

She was a native of Tampa, FLand a daughter of the late Walter M. and Carrie Rief Beckley. She was a member of the Hayesville First United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Dorothy loved all animals, especially her pets. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Harold George "Hal" Wilkinson; a brother, Walter M. Beckley, Jr. of Tampa, FLand a sister, Gloria Gomalak of San Antonio, Tex.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2007, at the Hayesville First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kirk Hatherly will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Bud Vaught, Rick Knowles, Steve West, Dannie Reed, R. J. Knowles and Mike Cooper.

Graveside rites and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2007, at the Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2007, at the Townson Rose Chapel in Hayesville, N.C.
