Hayesville First United Methodist helps homebuilding

A team of helpers gave a hand to the seven families working to complete their homes at Wesley Meadows, the Hinton Center Affordable Housing Project.

Nine members of First United Methodist Church spent Saturday, November 10 working with families who are in the final stages of finish work on their homes. The group included Mike and Jackie Garrita, Clea Miller, Don Couey, Elizabeth Frazer, Robert Stetson, Betty Lou and Rufus Stark, Bill Lincoln and Philip Moore. Jobs included construction on steps and porch railings, painting and paint preparation.

At lunchtime, the group was hosted for luch by Becky Garrett and her daughter, Jessyca at the Garrett home in Warne.
