High Mountain Squares Dance High Mountain Squares will dance this Wednesday night Dec 12th at the Macon County Community Building from 7:00 to 9:00PM. Grandparents Raising Kids Party Grandparents Raising Grandkids will host a Christmas Party December 15 from 12 Noon until 3 p.m. at United Community Bank in Blairsville. We will be serving Ham, Turkey, Sweet Potatoes and Rolls. Covered dishes are welcomed. All members and your guests are invited. Santa will be making two stops at the Center on Saturday, December 15 and Saturday, December 22, both at 9:30 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice and milk. The cost is $3 per person and pictures with Santa are also available for $5 each. Make your reservations early as seating is limited due to Santa's busy schedule. Writers for Children Workshop The Writing for Children workshop will meet Wednesday, December 19, from 10:00 am to 12 noon at the Moss Memorial Library in Hayesville, NC. The group meets regularly on the third Wednesday of the month. The focus of the workshop is poetry and stories for children and young adults. Support and advice is offered to writers.
