Yellow Jackets dominate on Mat in Franklin

The Yellow Jacket wrestling team defeated Franklin 40 - 30 in Franklin on Monday, December 17. The Jackets won seven of the 12 weight class matches with six falls and one forfeit.
Tyler Marcoux pinned his opponent in the 125 lb class with 47.5 seonds left in the first period. Jeffery Updike won his match in the 135 lb class by a pin about id-way in the third period. Tim Shaffer won his match by a fall in the 140 lb class. Kevin McCreary took to the mat and pinned his opponent in the 152 lb class with 23 seconds left in the first period. Ryan Hadas, wrestled in the 160 lb class, won by a pin in the second period. Wrestling newcomer Shane Gribble wone his first match by a pin mid-way in the second period in the 189 lb class.
Kyle Henrikson won by a forfiet in the 112 lb class. In other matches, Sam Lusty (130 lb class), Dakota Lyvers (145 lb class), Brett Long (171 lb class), and Donovan Byers (275 lb class) aggressively took to the mats, but lost to their opponent.
