ICL Presents Simply Spanish

Cary Derflinger, who was born in Havana, Cuba, will lead a course, "Simply Spanish," which will be a nostress, no-test course on the basics of the Spanish language. The main focus will be to teach words, phrases and sentences that can help a person communicate with Spanish-speaking people. The class will meet Saturdays from 10 am to 12 noon beginning January 19 and run through March 8 in Classroom 104 in the Goolsby Building on the campus of the College. The class is open to everyone for the cost of registration - $20. Cary is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Registered Court Interpreter. This class is sponsored by the Institute for Continuing Learning at Young Harris College. The cost is $20 and membership in ICL is not required.
