Clay County Building Permits

While 2008 building permits have yet to be tabulated and won't be until the end of the month, Clay county building inspector said there were only 130 permits issued in 2007 compared with 276 during 2006. "Last year was definitely a slump," Beck said. "I'm hopfully optimistic for this year although I don't have any numbers to base it on yet.
