Farmers, Are Your Books Ready for Farm Tax Time??

In January, February and March, the NC Cooperative Extension Farm Management Program will start a 4 week series of classes to help you become the best farm financial manager possible. The classes are designed to be convenient but thorough, covering subjects from basic computer accounting with QuickBooks to employee management. All work will be hands on but confidential to your individual businesses. By April, your books and business will be ready for a stress-free tax season.

About the classes

• takes place once per week for four weeks

• subjects will range from: basic computer accounting, employee management, debt management and planning for retirement

• everything you need to start and maintain good financial records is included: computer software and recording keeping materials

• husbands, wives or farm record-keepers are welcome

• suitable for all types of farming enterprises and any computer skill level
