United Community Bank Supports Panther Girls' Fast Pitch Softball

Blairsville, GA - January 18, 2008 - Girls fast-pitch softball is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation where top players are heavily recruited for college teams. Here in Blairsville, girls 16-and-under have an opportunity to get a head start on the competition on the Panthers fast pitch traveling softball team. .

Jimmy Nichols with United Community Bank is pictured here presenting a check to Whitney Cook in support of the girls' fast pitch team. The team, led by coach David Seabolt, competes with other teams from neighboring communities including Toccoa, Jefferson and Gainesville.

United Community Bank joins the community in wishing the girls safe travels and a successful season.
