Bobby Wayne Robinson
He was a native of Surry County, NC and a member of the Concord Church of Christ. He loved working with his son Tony on Tony's Ford Dragster. He was the son of the late Dewey Harley Robinson, Jr and Ruby Collins Robinson. Bobby is survived by his wife Ann Radford Robinson, a son Tony Wayne Robinson and his wife Hayley of Statesville, NC, a daughter Jill Isenberg and her husband Jason of Dublin, California, two brothers Donald Robinson of Archdale, NC and Roger Robinson of Thomasville, NC and his minature Dachshund Toby. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the Townson-Rose Frank Rose, Sr Memorial Chapel in Hayesville, NC. Preacher Tommy Poarch, Preacher Lawrence English, Preacher Beau Mills and Elder Jack Peddy will officiate. Entombment will be in the Shooting Creek Memorial Gardens, Hayesville, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the Townson- Rose Chapel in Hayesville, NC. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Memory of Bobby Robinson to the VA Medical Center c/o Nancy Brown- Terry, Code 001-V, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144 or call at (704)638-9000 ext. 3906.
