Wilda Lee Martin Wilda Lee Martin, age 78, of Winchester Cove Road, Hayesville, NC died Monday, January 14, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Fannin County, GA. Wilda Lee was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker. She loved gardening, rescued animals, and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Maggie Abercombie Stonecypher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Davenport. She is survived by her husband, Robert Jackson Martin Jr.; two sons, Robert Eugene Martin and his wife Karol Martin and Terry Jackson Martin all of Hayesville, NC; one brother, Kent Wallace and his wife Jean of Mineral Bluff, GA; six grandchildren; Travis Martin, Kane Martin, Christopher Martin, Eric Martin, Amanda Landes and Tonya Landes; eight great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jessica, Levi, Chris, Brianna, Autumn, Chris and Nicole and special friend, Mattie Cayce of Hayesville, NC. A Special Family Gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial maybe made to the Humane Society of Cherokee County, NC, 7540 US 19, Marble, NC.
