Yellow Jackets fight a hard decision

The Murphy Bulldogs came to Hayesville last Thursday to face the Yellow Jacket Wrestling team. And once again, they left empty handed.According to at least one count, Murphy's wrestling team has never won a meet from Hayesville as long as the Yellow Jackets have had a team.

The JV team also won, 54-36.

Varsity wrestlers scoring pins -- and six team points each were:

Tyler Marcoux, Sam Lusty, Jeff Updike, Tim Shaffer, Dakota Lyvers, and B.J. Struchko. Veteran yellow Jacket wrestler Kevin McCreary won a hardfought decision.
